Crosswater Contracts is delighted that two major projects they supplied bathroom fittings for, have been shortlisted for a string of architectural accolades at the prestigious European Hotel Design Awards. The Awards ‘celebrate exceptional hotel design and architecture, honouring the work of industry leading architects and designers, and the projects they create with hotel developers, owners and operators’.
The glamorous Mondrian Hotel by EPR Architects has been shortlisted in four categories: Architecture (Adaptive Re-Use); Interior Design (Bar); Interior Design (Restaurant) and Interior Design (Spa, Health and Leisure facilities). This boutique hotel was designed under the guise of renowned international interior designer, Tom Dixon, whose design remains true to the character of the original building.
Also shortlisted for the Architecture (Adaptive Re-Use) category, the Dorsett Hotel, London, which underwent a large-scale transformation by Flanagan Lawrence. Originally a derelict Grade II listed former cinema based in Shepherds Bush, the works consisted of a £30m refurbishment that extensively features Crosswater’s Mike Lever and Wisp brassware collections.
We are delighted to have been part of both projects and wish both EPR Architects and Flanagan Lawrence the very best of luck at the ceremony on Monday 23rd November at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge.
